While I’ve been here for years, I can’t really say that I’ve putting any suckas in fear lately. In fact, I haven’t been doing too much of anything this year, averaging one post per month so far. The good news is that I didn’t make a New Year’s resolution to blog more this year. The bad news is that I’m paying for bandwidth that I’m not using (sort of like my gym membership).

Since my current hosting plan is up for renewal in about a month, it’s probably a good time to assess whether I really want to keep blogging. In recent weeks I’ve spent far more time playing with the layout of the site than actually writing anything for it. While I think the latest iteration looks pretty good (I even have a snazzy Twitter badge in the footer), most people aren’t going to be too interested in looking at a static blog.

So unless I can manage to update this site on a regular basis for the next four weeks, I’m going to backup all my posts on my WordPress.com site and call it a day. The Misses is wanting to start a blog, so I can get my CSS fix by managing a site for her.
