Now I’m as hip as the next guy that owns a Mandy Patinkin album, but there are some things about culture today that really get my goat. Take, for example, the expression “play date”. When did it become necessary for kids to have to have an itinerary for playing with their friends? It seems like just yesterday (give or take 30 years) that this was called going over to a friend’s house to play.

I feel sorry for kids today. They have “play dates” and don’t have The Six Million Dollar Man.
