Looks like country legend Glenn Campbell is going the Pat Boone route and releasing an album of covers that one wouldn’t necessarily associate with the former Rhinestone Cowboy. Now the Tom Petty songs aren’t really much of a stretch musically, but they do sound pretty well done. The Foo Fighters and Greenday covers are a bit more out there though. Hopefully Rhapsody has a copy of this album, so I can give it a good listen. You can find out more info on the album and listen to three of the tracks over at meetglenncampbell.com.
